MYT and KACE – ‘Many Faces’ Exhibition

The first Thursday of the month art exhibitions near London’s Brick Lane have become something of an institution over the last few years, and this Thursday (2nd December) see’s another debut exhibition by two exciting east London artists… albeit not in the trendy Brick Lane area.. a bit further east the ‘Many Faces’ exhibition by MYT and KACE opens its doors.

Two local villains rooted in graffiti and street art showcase their latest pieces of work for all friends and fam invited to the private view.

drawing inspiration from the wonderful world of graffiti, typography, illustration, comic book art and graphics, the show promises to be an exciting event. With all art works for sale on the night its not only a chance to see the start of something (hopefully) special, but also the chance to pick up a bargain for christmas!.. we all love dope artwork on our walls right?!..

Nike x Stussy Capsule Collection

Mike Fresh Spiel: A nice collabo from the two giants that are Nike and Stussy. As you’d expect the trainers are dope, i’ve recently rediscovered my love for Nike Blazers, and have purchased a couple of real nice pairs of late, and would be seriously tempted to add these to my collection if the opportunity arises, cant sadly say teh same for the jacket and the tee, maybe its just the promo photo but that neck on the tee looks nasty!.. it looks as wide as the waist!.. and as nice as the jacket no doubt is, it just doesn’t say much to me.. anyways, who am i to judge eh!?.. no doubt kids all over the world will be saving their penny’s and heading to the nearest Stussy store to get involved.

Official Spiel: Stussy and Nike Sportswear’s history of collaboration is rekindled once more through the release of a sneaker, jacket, and t-shirt. The collection honoring Stussy’s thirtieth anniversary begins with black and white versions of the All Court Mid Supreme that feature a premium leather upper and accents on the Swoosh and heel. Nike’s letterman-inspired Destroyer Jacket is specially adorned with Stussy embroidery, and an organic cotton tee bearing an ode to the brand’s longstanding heritage rounds out the collection. The collection is available at all Stussy chapters on Friday, December 3rd, 2010.

Undefeated x Converse – poorman weapon.

Seen a few things about these particular trainers knocking about the internet, and although their not the sort of kicks id wear, i do think they are pretty fresh, and would be the kind of trainers id see someone else wearing and think “yeah.. they’re fresh”.

Undefeated seem to have come in for some stick from a lot of kids lately, and rightly so in my opinion, for some really ordinary clothing ranges over the past couple of seasons, so here’s hoping this is that start of a turn around.

but, in light of all that i thought id post up the latest spiel to find its way online..

Undefeated and Converse have again teamed up to create yet another capsule collection centred around the Poorman Weapon. As seen across each of the previous capsules, the Poorman Weapon sneaker is decorated in a nylon upper and finished with tonal branding. Lined in a contrasting orange and sitting atop a traditional white Converse sole complete with 5-strike branding, the shoes restrained aesthetics and intricate detailing helps it sit comfortably amongst the past collaborations. Complementing the hi-tops are the similarly styled flight jacket and tote bag. Each item will be available from Undefeated chapters stores on online from tomorrow morning.

Super grey and orange.
